Best Practice Exchange Transforming an Organization Through Developing Leaders: The Turnaround Story of an ESOP Company

  • Midland Hills Country Club 2001 Fulham Street Roseville, MN 55113 (map)

Imagine hiring and moving a CFO and her family to your company in Minnesota when the board of directors suddenly fires 5 of the 7 members of your executive team. Then imagine discovering 9 of your top 10 customers are planning to stop buying from you. Your new CFO is made the interim CEO who is suddenly responsible for the lives of over 100 families.

What do you do?

Please join us November 15th to learn how Heather Braimbridge-Cox took the helm of a battered company in New Ulm and steered it toward health and unprecedented success. Following a commitment to create a people strategy as robust and challenging as her growth strategy, Heather focused on the need to build high performing leaders and teams throughout the organization and embarked upon an enterprise-wide approach to do just that.

In this Case Study Review, Heather Braimbridge-Cox and Bill Mills will share the strategic moves that increased employee productivity from 77% to 99.8%; reduced turnover from 20% to 3.99%; and achieved unprecedented employee engagement scores.

They will share what they named The Leadership Process™ -- a large-scale change initiative that built leadership and teamwork across the organization.

Participants will gain insight into:

•      How adult learning models and social psychology principles were used to initiate and sustain behavior change

•      How informal leaders were selected and used to lead change

•      Why professionalism was chosen as the foundation for change

•      How leadership was transferred to front line employees and how it was transformed in the ranks of management

•      How HR can be a strategic partner to the business to drive outstanding business results.

This a not-to-be-missed event. You will leave inspired by what can be accomplished in a short time when leadership is distributed to the front lines of the organization.
